Politics Review Lesson
On the morning of 19th May, teacher Yang Xuling from the Junior High Department of the east campus and teacher Wu Jiamei from the Junior High Department of the west campus of Anqing Foreign Language School set up the ‘heterogeneous forms for the same subject’ review lesson of political topics for the Senior High School Entrance Examination in the joint classroom of the east campus. In attendance were Vice Principal Liu Bing, Vice Principal Xu Xuchang, Director Zhang Li, Director Li Ping, Deputy Director Hu Sen and all the teachers of the Ethics and Rule of Law Teaching and Research Group from both the east and west campuses who carried out a heated discussion in the subsequent class evaluation meeting.
Specifically, the meeting was presided over by teacher Xuan Meili of the east campus. First of all, Vice Principal Liu Bing spoke highly of the two teachers’ demonstration classes and gave the thumbs up to the high marks of the 9th grade students whose average points ranked first in politics in the first simulation test in Anqing City, hoping that teachers with the Ethics and Rule of Law Teaching and Research Group would make concerted effort, unite as one and continue to work hard to improve students’ performance in the Senior High School Entrance Exam. Second of all, the teachers in the Ethics and Rule of Law Teaching and Research Group proceeded impartial appraisal on the two teachers’ review lessons, thinking that the two teachers made adequate preparation for the review classes with reasonable classroom presentation, clear exam key points, emphasis on problem-solving skills in addition to some rational proposals. Therefore, the strong atmosphere of teaching and research in both the east and west campuses benefited the teachers a lot.
Furthermore, Principal Xu Xuchang and other school leaders who attended the lessons expressed their own opinions on the politics review classes for the Senior High School Entrance Examination of the east and west campuses. They affirmed that the two teachers were fully prepared for the review classes and also put forward their own viewpoints as well as some constructive guidance on politics review in the Senior High School Entrance Examination.
All in all, there is impetus as well as affirmation. There is combatant spirit as well as demand. All the teachers with the Ethics and Rule of Law Teaching and Research Group shall live up to expectations and strive to achieve more excellent results in this year's Senior High School Entrance Examination!
